At the end of each school year, Kenmore Middle School (Arlington Public Schools) brings in 9-12 authors to present and meet with our students as a culminating celebration of our 40-book reading goal. In order to offset the author's stipend fees, Kenmore is producing a 2016 calendar featuring many students reading throughout the day at school, entitled, Our Reading Life.

Dear Interested Donors,

We are excited to announce our 2016 Kenmore literacy calendar fundraiser. Kenmore Middle School has produced a 12-month, school-based wall calendar featuring Kenmore readers in action. Proceeds from calendar purchases will directly support our sixth grade 40-Book Celebration held in the spring.

Kenmore is proud to continue our tradition of inviting young adult authors to present to students during multiple morning breakout sessions. The highlight of our 40-Book Celebration is our keynote speaker presentation, which last year was the 2015 Newbery winner, Kwame Alexander, author of The Crossover.
